Zawji — Islamic Matchmaking Platform
Effective date: March 1, 2026
1. General Provisions
This Terms of Service agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") governs the relationship between ZAWJI (hereinafter referred to as the "Platform") and the user (hereinafter referred to as the "User").
ZAWJI is a platform for finding a partner in accordance with Islamic norms for the purpose of Nikah (Islamic marriage).
By registering on the Platform, the User confirms acceptance of this Agreement in full.
2. Description of Services
The Platform provides the following services:
- Profile creation and management
- Partner search for the purpose of Nikah
- Mutual interest system (likes and matches)
- Photo exchange between matched users
- Chat with witnesses (Wali system)
- Manual moderation of profiles and content
Disclaimer: ZAWJI facilitates introductions for the purpose of Nikah. The Platform does not register civil marriages and is not responsible for the legal formalization of relationships.
3. Registration and Account
- The User must be at least 18 years of age to register on the Platform.
- The User is required to provide truthful and accurate data during registration.
- Each User is allowed only one account.
- All profiles are subject to mandatory moderation before being published on the Platform.
4. Rules of Conduct
The following actions are strictly prohibited on the Platform:
- Posting explicit, obscene, or sexually suggestive content
- Sharing personal contact information (phone numbers, social media accounts, messengers)
- Fraud, deception, or misrepresentation of identity
- Insults, harassment, hate speech, or disrespectful behavior
- Spam, unsolicited advertising, or promotional content
- Taking screenshots of other users' photos
- Attempting to bypass moderation or Platform restrictions
- Using bots, scripts, or automated tools
- Any actions that contradict Islamic norms and values
5. Monitoring and Witnesses
- All chats on the Platform are conducted in the presence of witnesses.
- Moderators review profiles, photos, and reported content.
- AI-assisted moderation may be used to detect violations.
- The Wali (guardian) has access to the User's conversations and activity.
6. Connects and Payments
- Connects are the internal virtual unit of the Platform.
- 1 Connect = 1 chat initiation with a matched user.
- Connects can be purchased via Telegram Stars or bank cards.
- Connects are not exchangeable for real money.
- Connects are not transferable between accounts.
7. Blocking
The Platform reserves the right to block or restrict a User's account for the following reasons:
- Violations of the Rules of Conduct
- Providing false or misleading information
- Fraud or suspicious activity
- Confirmed complaints from other users
Connects are not refunded upon account blocking for rule violations.
8. Limitation of Liability
- The Platform does not guarantee that the User will find a suitable partner.
- The Platform is not responsible for the accuracy of data provided by other users.
- The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
9. Intellectual Property
All materials, design elements, logos, text, and software on the Platform are the intellectual property of ZAWJI and are protected by applicable laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.
10. Account Deletion
- The User may delete their account through the "Profile" section of the Platform.
- All personal data will be deleted within 30 days of the deletion request.
- Remaining Connects are not refunded upon account deletion.
11. Changes to Agreement
ZAWJI reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time. Users will be notified of changes through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.
