Zawji is a Telegram Mini App for serious Muslims seeking Nikah. It is not a dating app: there is no swiping for entertainment, the focus is on beliefs and compatibility according to Islamic guidelines. The service was built in Madinah and endorsed by students of Islamic sciences.

Connects are the app's internal currency. To express interest in a profile, you spend 1 Connect. This serves as a seriousness filter: having a limited number of Connects encourages you to read profiles carefully and think through each choice, rather than swiping mindlessly. You receive free Connects upon registration.

Every profile undergoes rigorous manual moderation: sisters' profiles are reviewed only by sisters, and brothers' profiles are reviewed only by brothers. We check the data, screening questions (prayer, lifestyle, intentions), and compliance with Islamic norms. Fake and non-serious individuals are filtered out during moderation. However, verifying the beliefs and religiosity of your potential spouse is your responsibility. We create a safe environment and filter out clearly unsuitable candidates, but deep verification of manhaj (methodology), knowledge, and sincerity is the duty of every Muslim when choosing a life partner. Ask questions in the chat, involve the Wali and witnesses.
