Zawji — a marriage-focused platform built on Islamic principles

Effective date: 25 July 2026

Zero tolerance. Zawji prohibits all content and conduct involving child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Confirmed cases result in immediate and permanent account termination and referral to the competent authorities.

1. Adults only

Zawji is strictly limited to people aged 18 and over. Registration by anyone under 18 is prohibited by our Terms of Service. Age is collected at registration and accounts that do not meet the age requirement are rejected automatically.

Every profile is reviewed by a moderator before it becomes visible in the service. If a moderator has any doubt about a user's age, the profile is not published until the matter is resolved.

These reports reach moderators through a separate priority channel and are reviewed within 24 hours.

This address is for child-safety matters, including enquiries from law enforcement, child protection organisations, and app distribution platforms.

A designated member of the Zawji team is accountable for these standards and for handling reports. Messages sent to child-safety@zawji.app are routed directly to them.

6. Compliance

These standards are published in accordance with the Google Play Child Safety Standards policy for Social and Dating apps, and with applicable law in the countries where the service is distributed.
